Marisha has over 10 years’ experience in academic research and publication. She joined CACTUS as an editor, where she used her language skills and knowledge of the best practices in the field of psychology and healthcare to help ESL authors produce compelling, high-quality scholarly communication that met the standards of leading journals in their field. Armed with an innate understanding of the difficulties faced by ESL authors, she then oversaw quality for key accounts at Editage and manages custom projects. She is currently a senior writer in the Impact Science team. Marisha has a bachelor’s degree in mass communication and is also a BELS-certified editor. In 2013, Marisha won the travel grant for early career professionals from the Society for Scholarly Publishing (SSP) to attend its annual conference from in San Francisco, USA.
